Bill Bossert was born in Greenwich Village, New York City in 1918. He has created whimsical, joyful, story-filled watercolors since the 1930s. He now lives most of the year in Germany, where he is well-known for his watercolor painting. Recently, a book on Bill Bossert was published in German and in English. Bill Bossert paints many scenes of Italy (where he met his wife) and in the summer, when he resides in Orleans, MA, he paints varied scenes of Cape Cod life.
